In 1993, Superb took the vision and added the necessary steps toward becoming a qualified supplier of specific engineering fasteners for the automotive industry. In 2001, Superb was purchased by Illinois Tool Works (ITW) and joined the ITW family as a business unit of this large Fortune 200 organization.

Superb has now exceeded its original expectations to become an industry leader for design and development of functional retention type fasteners within multiple areas of the vehicle. Through these efforts and disciplines at the ITW Superb Products manufacturing facility in Port Huron and Technical Center in Sterling Heights Michigan, Superb has achieved and maintains its QS9000/ISO9001 accreditation as a preferred supplier of functional plastic products.

Superb has become the recognized leader in the use of the W-base style fastening system. A "Share the Knowledge" class is taught at our Sterling Heights facility to our customer base in an interactive format. This is an accredited OEM class.
